Raising Fun(ds) and Awareness at Summit for the Planet

Spring is in full swing at Mount Madonna School! As of today we have most students registered and pledges coming in for our last major fundraiser of the year, Summit for the Planet. Thank you to all the students, parents, faculty and staff who have supported this event by assisting with registration and pledge drives! With one week to go we are at 39% of our goal. In true community spirit we ask for 100% participation from our students and families to meet our $26,000.00 goal! Please send in pledges to the school office by Monday, April 24.

We know this time of year is extremely busy and exciting for all of our families, with so many great programs and activities happening throughout the school. Remember, without fundraising these programs would NOT be possible. ALL proceeds from fundraisers directly pay for the costs of programs that are offered in addition to our stellar core academics and low student-to-teacher ratio. These programs include all of our lower school and upper school music and performing arts productions, athletics, day and overnight field trips, Makers Lab, all-school Spanish program, the Values program (including the Learning Journeys), and Ramayana!.

Summit for the Planet is an incredible time for our families to unite and commit to keeping these programs strong while showcasing the work of our community. Our students from each grade level have been working hard on numerous projects which will be performed or displayed on Saturday, April 29.
