Seniors Raffle “Work Day” to Combat Poverty in India

Some people in India are suffering great poverty, hardships, malnutrition and illnesses that would be massively alleviated by receiving financial support. Mount Madonna School (MMS) seniors are raffling off a day of their collective time and energy to work hard for you and raise funds to help organizations in India who are combating poverty.

Enter to win a day of your choosing, in which at least five (and probably more) helpful strong, caring and very capable seniors will show up to do gardening, housework, cooking, cleanup or other work of your choice for a minimum of four hours. Each raffle ticket is $10, or $100 for 12 tickets. You also have the option to purchase a “golden ticket” for $500 to bypass the raffle and instantly be able to choose a “Work Day” date that works for you.

All of the funds raised from ticket sales will be passed on the the organization the seniors will be visiting in India. The raffle will be drawn as soon as we have sold fifty tickets. We may auction or raffle a second day of help if there is enough interest.

The senior class appreciate your consideration in supporting this fundraising effort, which will help the class to support a great cause. Simply Venmo @Sky_Weir and include your name and phone number in the notes. Checks can also be made out to Mount Madonna School and turned in to Shannon Kelly in the school office.
