Preschool at age 3

What inspires you?

Something that inspires me is people who dedicate their lives to helping others.

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?

My favorite subject in school is AP Physics because we use critical thinking and I enjoy problem-solving.  The class is just three students so we get lots of one on one time with PK, our teacher.

If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?

Climate change because it threatens many species of plants and animals.

What is your dream job and why?

My dream job would be doing something in the realm of the plant world, perhaps a botanist, or maybe a nurseryman.

What are your three favorite things?

My greenhouse, my bog garden, and my dogs.

Favorite book

“The Savage Garden” by Peter D’Amato, because it is a very easy to comprehend and an enjoyable book about caring for specific types of carnivorous plants.

What do you want to do after high school?

I plan to attend the University of California, San Diego, to study biology, continue cultivating carnivorous plants, and do more scuba diving and exploring in San Diego.

Something that makes you smile

My dogs Luna and Ellie always put a smile on my face.

A favorite MMS memory and why

One of my favorite MMS memories was playing in the rock pile when I was little.  We would climb onto a large pile of rocks and pretend to find diamonds and precious gems.

Who inspires you and why?

There is no one who inspires me more than faculty member Sidd McDonald, who rules with an iron fist and a heart of gold.
