On Saturday, Oct. 15, 7:00-9:00pm, the Rio Theater in Santa Cruz will present a special showing of the documentary entitled Screenagers. Here is a blurb to describe this highly praised film:
Growing Up In The Digital Age

Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.
This Santa Cruz premiere will be followed by a Q & A with producer Lisa Tabb.
This film is also appropriate for ages 10+. Those families who have already seen the film with their children have told us that it provided a rich source of dialogue for the family. They told us that both the students’ and the parents’ points of view are well represented in the documentary.
