School Closure Plan

Our policy is to have the normal school schedule unless any of the following conditions occur:

  • Roads are closed
  • Emergency services have designated hazardous road conditions and it is deemed too dangerous to travel
  • Any natural disasters that impede our ability to have school
  • Power Outages

We have a generator for the Upper School buildings and in the event of power outage in the Lower School buildings, we will host grades 1-5 in the Upper Campus buildings.

For the Preschool Kindergarten, we will notify parents of the option to keep children home or dress them appropriately for the weather as they will host class in the Lakeview which has natural lighting, but would not be heated with an outage.

Communication for any emergency is done through the Power Announce system, which you should receive via phone, text or email, depending on your stated preference during registration.
