Mount Madonna 3, at Scotts Valley 0 >> Senior middle Holden Smith registered 14 kills and five aces in the Hawks’ 25-16, 25-12, 25-17 win.
Freshman libero John Dias made seven digs and had an outstanding passing night, according to coach Nate Rockhold. Freshman setter Luca Peruzzi added 26 assists for the Hawks (18-4, 9-1).
