Ocean Hero: Students Participate in Event Honoring Congressman Sam Farr

On October 17, Mount Madonna School (MMS) students attended and helped staff an event for Congressman Sam Farr at the home of Sally-Christine Rodgers and Randy Repass. It was a gathering in appreciation and honor of Sam Farr’s work in protecting our oceans.

“It was a good opportunity for these students to gain experience in meeting and speaking with community leaders who represent a broad spectrum of activities in Santa Cruz County,” noted high school Values in World Thought teacher Ward Mailliard.
