Like to mountain bike? Want to get fit and have fun with classmates and other school parents?
Mount Madonna School (MMS) fifth through twelfth grade students, parents and guardians are invited to come join a new Mountain Biking Club.
Bike club riders will meet at 3:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays at the MMS Upper Campus entrance/parking lot.

You will notice on cast the list there are simply titles along with exotic Arabic names next to your names. While it will be our job together to bring dynamic to those titles (and learn how to pronounce them together), the list does not necessarily reveal everything you’ll be doing in the play. Remember, the script will change some- avoid highlighting lines just yet. Songs and line assignments may be altered. Mainly now, trust the process; be kind to your fellow students, remain open to opportunity and direction, and let us work hard as a united theatrical community to bring Aladdin to life.

The audience of young students watched intently and seemed to hold their collective breath as educator Rob Dicely led ‘Shoshone,’ a 90-pound female mountain lion, to the stage. Guided by Dicely, Shoshone flexed her muscular hind legs and leapt effortlessly onto a table where she sat and studied her surroundings.

On Monday, Mount Madonna School hosted an Appreciation Day for Congressman Sam Farr (D-CA), honoring the 10-term representative for his leadership and service to California’s 17th district and recognizing him as a mentor, friend and educator for two decades of Mount Madonna School students.
Mount Madonna School eighth graders Indigo Kelly, Ruby Bracher and Phoebe Grant, observing salt water density gradient columns they created as part of a lesson on fluid density. Eighhth grade students are studying Chemistry and learning about fluid density and how the density of salt water affects the currents in the open ocean and the biodiversity in estuaries.
