Now she and local State Sen. Joe Simitian are working together to help other women get information they need.
Respected local ecologist Dr. Kerry Kriger will be the featured speaker at the upcoming 5th Annual Summit for the Planet eco-living festival. Kriger is founder and executive director of Save The Frogs!, the first and only public charity in the United States dedicated exclusively to amphibian conservation.

On March 26, the boys varsity team participated in Leland High School’s Charger Classic tournament. The Hawks played six matches, and finished the day with a record of 4-2, and 9th overall in a 24-team tournament. Varsity coach PK McDonald, describes the day’s competition:
Santa Cruz band Wooster – a local favorite known for playing a lively fusion of reggae, soul, rock and blues – will perform a FREE concert at the 5th Annual Summit for the Planet festival on April 9 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Event co-host Mount Madonna School is especially pleased to welcome back alumnus Zack Donoghue (‘00), the band’s lead guitarist.
