What inspires you?
I’m inspired to do well in life because of my dream of one day having enough money to be able to go and do whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like it, without having to worry about any sort of economic constraints. I want to be able to say, ‘Oh, let’s go skydiving!’ and actually go and do it!

What is your favorite subject in school, and why?
Chemistry really interests me because the tiniest of changes in a material’s atomic structure can bring about massive real world results. This dichotomy fascinates me.

If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?
I’d probably try to do something about the world’s reliance on crude oil. I’d really have to think what specifically I would do, because simply eliminating the industry would send the global economy into free fall.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go?
Seeing the world below me from somewhere up high like the Burj Khalifa or Mount Everest sounds breathtaking. I guess I’d like to literally be at the top of the world.

Name one big challenge in your life right now:
Right now I’m focusing on keeping my grades up. It feels great to have a good GPA.

What is your dream job?
Something having to do with sound engineering. Or maybe being a producer or DJ. These all sound like a lot of fun and have room for creativity.

What are your three favorite things?
  1. Nutella
  2. Weekends
  3. Music

Favorite book:
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson is without a doubt one of the best books I’ve ever read. The final few sentences were profound to the utmost extent. ‘Full circle, he thought while the final lethargy crept into his limbs. Full circle. A new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.’

What do you want to do after high school?
I’d like to go into the music production industry, or maybe dabble in audio engineering. Those have always seemed like very interesting fields, rife with opportunity for creativity.

Something that makes you smile:
That moment when I wake up and think I have to go to school, and then I realize it’s a weekend. Good stuff!

Favorite MMS event or memory — and why?
Our sophomore class trip to Catalina was without a doubt one of the highlights of not only my academic career, but my life in general. In retrospect I learned a lot, but at the time, I didn’t even feel like I was studying anything. It was just a lot of fun.

Top three most played songs on your iTunes or iPod:
Hunger by QuESt
Jeopardy by Run the Jewels
Sweatpants by Childish Gambino
