MMS Alums to Perform at Cabrillo Choral Concert in San Francisco

Ian Rusconi (’06) and wife Amita Kuttner (’08) will be performing with the Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus in a concert at 6:00pm on Sunday, July 1 at St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral in San Francisco.

Ian has been working with the Chorus for about a year and a half, and played a lead role in organizing this concert.

Tickets for the show are $20 at the door (or contact Ian to purchase ahead of time). The concert will feature John Rutter’s Mass of the Children , a 40-minute non-liturgical missa brevis for both full chorus and children’s choir. In addition, singers will perform “several glorious shorter works from the Renaissance to now, such as Paul Basler’s Alelulia and Heinrich Schütz’s Die Mit Tränen Säen ,” says Ian.

Amita will be singing in the soprano section, next to Deb Bronstein, MMS musical director for many years and parent of alums Lara (’05) and Andrew Whitaker (’08).

St. Mary’s Cathedral is located at 1111 Gough Street in San Francisco.
