Fiddler on the Roof Cast List

Congratulations on your roles!

You’ll notice for many of you, last names and designations of Father, Mother, Son or Daughter. Check out your families! Those designations also inform you of your singing role in “Tradition”. Those who are Villagers and Russians, and/or Bottle Dancers, know that you all begin as Villagers for the opening number. We’ll discuss the sequence of the switches once we’re together. Some line and song assignments will change from the original script. Remember, this is a play about a community set in a very different time period; they are poor and hard working, with strong faith and belief in their traditions; do some research on turn of the century Russia and life in the Shtetl (Small Village).
