To raise funds for construction of our new multipurpose gymnasium, Mount Madonna School participated in Drive for Schools! ALL stubs, money, and unsold tickets were due back by Thursday, October 13th. The auto/cash drawing took place on Sunday, October 23rd at 1:00pm at the Capitola Auto Mall (Toyota). The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade classes sold the most tickets and they will celebrate with pizza lunch parties!

Toyota of Santa Cruz is sponsoring a FREE Child Safety Event on Sunday, October 23, 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the dealership, 4200 Auto Plaza Drive. As a service to families in our community, this program provided by DNA Lifeprint, offers Biometric Fingerprinting, Digital Photograph and DNA Identification as part of an individual Child Identification Kit, which you will take home with you.
Drive For Schools, founded in 2005 by Subaru of Santa Cruz and now sponsored by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and The Capitola Auto Mall, has successfully raised more than $1.5 million for Santa Cruz County schools through an annual car giveaway.
The Drive for Schools fundraiser drawing (like a raffle) offers a grand prize NEW Toyota Prius or Subaru Outback or $25,000 cash… plus over 100 exciting prizes!
This week, we sent home 2 books/ 12 tickets with each student.
- Tickets to enter the drawing are sold for $5.00 each or 6 tickets for $25.00.
- Please ensure that the ticket purchaser fills out the entire ticket stub, and you keep that portion to turn in to the office.
- Give the larger part of the raffle ticket back to the purchaser so they can claim their prize, if they win. Must be 18 years or older to win.
- Checks should be made payable to Mount Madonna School (or MMS).
Please return ALL stubs, money, and any unsold tickets by Thursday, October 13th.
