Drive for Schools is a tremendous opportunity for Mount Madonna School students to raise money as 100% of the proceeds go directly to the school. Founded in 2005, and sponsored by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Drive for Schools has successfully raised over $8 million total for local schools.
This year, the grand prize is $25,000 cash. There are also five $1,000 cash prizes plus over 100 additional prizes! The complete prize list and contest rules are located here.
All elementary, middle and high schools in Santa Cruz County are invited to participate at NO COST. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk provides the prizes, prints the tickets, and produces promotional materials. Mount Madonna School students sell the $5 tickets and the school keeps every single penny raised.
Packets with tickets and instructions will be sent home by Friday, September 15 and each student will have the opportunity to sell these tickets to friends and family members. The fundraiser ends Monday, October 16.
