Clothing and School Supplies Drive

The 5th grade is working with Spanish teacher Sara to collect donations of clothes, socks, shoes, swim masks and school supplies. It’s your opportunity to do a little spring cleaning and your donation of any gently used items is greatly appreciated. There are collection boxes at the lower campus bus stop and near the upper campus office.

All items collected will be hand delivered to BriBri School, the only indigenous school in Costa Rica by a group of MMS students and faculty who will be visiting in late June. All donations will support this school who has lost its only teacher.  At BriBri School, many students walk hours to get school, must fish for their own lunch and most children have not had beyond a second grade education due to lack of teachers. An organization has stepped in to teach the school but needs support in the form of clothing and supplies.
