One of our most celebrated fairy tales, Alice in Wonderland, Jr. confronts issues of identity and growing up. Alice, within Wonderland, must adjust to the arbitrary rules and social etiquette of the adult society, while along the way she struggles with the loss of innocence, imagination, and even open-mindedness as she forges her new “grown up” identity. While the theme is serious, the action of the play is a wild ride of creativity, zaniness and colorful, memorable characters.
