HS Students invited to Participate in Model United Nations

Planning for next year’s Model United Nations started in June. Due to the various constraints of planned MMS trips, our participation in MUN will likely be the weekend program at Stanford, November 9th to 11th.

All High School students are invited to be a part of MUN. The fee is $95.

If you would like to participate, please email Sumana (mother of Kavi, 12th, Lekha, 7th) – see Parent Directory or call the Office for contact information. Please also send a check for $95 asap to Sumana.

As in the past, any students who are serious about attending but who may find the fee a hardship may apply for a scholarship. The total cost will include hotel and lodging.

Those who are interested in participating this year will need to commit to preparation time, including a training session on MUN for those who are first timers, and paper writing and strategy sessions for all.

As before, Kavi will spearhead training, Sumana general logistics and training support, and Kaye (Alyssa, 10th) will coordinate the financial end.
