What inspires you?
People that can make the best of bad situations really inspire me. People who treat people with love and kindness make me want to do the same and push me to be a better person.
What is your favorite subject in school, and why?
Spanish, I like the idea of learning a new language, and it is so exciting. I think that it is super useful and I’ve always been eager to learn another language.
If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?
I think I would want to have the ability to give everyone equal opportunity and education. In general I would let people be who they want to be, and have people be more empathetic to others.
What is your dream job and why?
I don’t really know; I want to go into a field to help people. I’ve been looking into schools that offer occupational therapy, nursing or physician assistant programs. I want to be able to tangibly help people and I think medicine is the best way to do that.
What are your three favorite things?
The beach, trying new food and friends

”The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini
What do you want to do after high school?
My focus is going to a four-year college, experiencing as much as I can and just taking it from there.
Something that makes you smile:
Watching the sunset, especially at the beach, always puts a smile on my face.
A favorite MMS memory – and why?
Going to the Wrigley Institute in tenth grade and seeing the bioluminescence is one of my favorite memories. I had a really good time on that trip in general and especially seeing the bioluminescence was so magical and beautiful.
Who inspires you and why?
I would say my mom, because she is really strong and supportive. She created her own business at a very young age, around the age I am, which is so incredible. She also inspires me with the way she treats people with some much love and kindness.
