The mountain is alive with The Sound of Music!
Join us on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25 for the Mount Madonna School High School Winter Production of The Sound of Music.
This inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars.
The Sound of Music has a run time of 2 hours, 40 minutes including intermission, and contains historically complex themes.

Purchasing tickets online prior to the event is preferred and strongly recommended as our productions regularly sell out. In the rare event that we do not sell out, tickets can be purchased at the door.
To expedite the check-in process at the theater, we recommend filling the names of each ticket holder in the field provided upon purchase, and/or transferring tickets via text or email to any members of your party who may be arriving separately.
For questions regarding ticket purchases, or to reserve an accessible parking spot, please contact Jess Vargas.
