Three Mount Madonna School students, all dancers with Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre (SCBT), recently participated in the Regional Dance America (RDA) Pacific Region Festival of Dance in Phoenix, Arizona. The students, fifth grader Milana Beck, sixth grader Riley Butler, and eighth grader Amelia Busenhart, represented SCBT at this showcase event, and Busenhart, a member of SCBT’s senior company, performed in a company ensemble at the festival.

Summer internship/volunteer program for 25 students, 12 yrs. - 17 yrs old. Includes workshops, field trips and internships at local non-profits in Santa Cruz County, beginning second week of June - July. The sites include:  Science Workshop, Bike Shack, Youth N.O.W, Second Harvest, SPCA Summer Camp, Jacob’s Heart and Watsonville Volunteer Center.

Daniel Fried will attend our Capstone Project Assembly on Tuesday, May 14th and give us more information after the Capstone presentations.

Attention parents: All MMS students who have library books and/or textbooks checked out have received a list of those books.

Honoring the Life and Works of Baba Hari Dass in His 90th Year.

Mount Madonna School will present a 35-year photographic retrospective on Saturday, May 25, at 2:00 - 3:30 pm at Mount Madonna Center.

Mount Madonna School alumni, students, friends and family are invited to be a part of this special celebration through singing the songs "Candy Man" and "We are the Monkeys."

As part of your 8th grade "Rite of Passage" offering, we would like to invite you to a parents' component which we will host on Thursday, May 9th, the first night of your child’s Rite Of Passage.

Best of luck to aspiring young boxer Rosino LeGan, a junior at Mount Madonna School, who will head to Spokane, Washington next week to compete in the USA Boxing National Championships, April 1-6.
