Summit for the Planet Celebration
We are thrilled to announce that we reached our goal of raising $25,000 for our school. Huge thanks to all the hard work by students and their families in gathering pledges and walking!
Students who reach their goals will be celebrating in the money booth, among other activities.

In addition to the enjoying the morning walk-a-thon with friends and family, attendees of the Summit for the Planet celebration will not want to miss the engaging array of eco-conscious vendors and organizations at the event. Below is some information about event participants.

'Fun-raising' and Family Fun at Summit for the Planet
Whether you come to walk in support of your favorite local nonprofit organization or for ensuing fun, the 7th annual Summit for the Planet Walk-a-thon and Earth Day Celebration offers something for all ages. The celebration will feature solar vehicle races, ‘eco-carnival’ games, live animals, community networking, ‘green’ businesses, live music, and delicious, organic foods – including ice cream from Santa Cruz’s Penny Ice Creamery!

T-Shirts to Benefit Senior India Trip for Sale NOW!
The seniors are selling T-shirts to benefit their upcoming trip to India. You can pre-order yours now. All proceeds go to Mount Madonna School’s senior class journey to India in March.
While in India, the students will visit Sri Ram Orphanage and a number of schools, and they will be making donations of money and clothing to these organizations. Your support of the students' endeavors, through purchasing these shirts, is very much appreciated!

Drive for Schools Celebration
Mount Madonna School's participation in the Drive for Schools fundraiser is now over.
100% of ticket sales go to MMS.
Although the Drive for Schools fundraiser fell a little short of the $20,000 goal, we did raise $17,300! Thank you to everyone who chose to support MMS through this fundraiser. We especially want to recognize students and their families who went above and beyond and sold more than 10 packets of tickets: Benny (K), Katie (1st), Bella (2nd), Cecily (2nd), Addy (3rd), Ben P. (3rd), Kahlan (4th), Riley (4th), Savannah (4th), Jordan (5th), Noah (5th), Sarah (5th), Ella (6th), Phoebe (7th), Sienna (7th), Zach W. (7th), Joseph (12th).

Gym Site Clean-up Day *Cancelled*
Families are invited to pitch in and help clean-up the upper lot and new gym site area on two work days, Saturday, November 3. Saturday, November 10, is cancelled.
New Gym Site Clean-up Day
A big THANK YOU to all who came to help out on Saturday! Everyone worked hard - clearing trees behind the wood shed, nearly filling a garbage bin, starting to fill the metal bin - and so we were able to make a "dent" in the site clean-up.

Mount Madonna School is participating in the Drive for Schools fundraiser.

Our goal is $20,000. This is an all-school effort, and if we reach our goal, we will all celebrate together with a pizza party and pig races!
