Welcome to the Mount Madonna School 5th grade Environmentality Website page! Our goal is to help change the world through waste reduction. We have found that waste in the world is a big problem today. Too many people are throwing garbage away that could be recycled, composted or reused. We also found that our buying choices create more waste. So we decided to enter Disney’s Jiminy Cricket’s Environmentality Challenge to help motivate us to change the world. Our goal is to change the world, we want prevent it from turning in to a pile of trash and to accomplish this through educating others. To prepare for this challenge we have researched about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, waste in America, recycling and composting. This website has been created to share with you some of the scary facts we found out about – and how YOU can change the world!
